Sue Douglas Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2023, at the age of 76, Sue Douglas of New Virginia, Iowa, born in Indianola, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Hypes and Ellora Hypes (Garrison); her husband Lonnie Bryant Douglas; her brothers, Jerry and Dave Hypes; her parents-in-law, Les and Wilma Douglas; her stepdaughter Tammy Douglas; her daughters, Connie Brommel (Alan) and Tina McCuddin (John); her grandchildren, Don Brommel (Sidney), Alyssa Cornelison (Max), Caylin Brommel (Carter Chedester), Bailey, Carli and Josie McCuddin; her great grandchildren, Leila Jean, Hazen and Oaklee Rae; her stepdaughters, Debbie Matney (Dave) and Jodi Douglas; and her brother Randy Hypes (Diane). She was also cherished by other relatives and many many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sue to the New Virginia Fire and Rescue Department.
