With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Everett Ray Kephart of New Virginia, Iowa, born in Winterset, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Kephart and Mary Kephart; his brothers, Wayne Kephart and Harold Kephart; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Kephart and Joan Kephart.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Kay Stanley; his children, Heather Richardson, Luke Kephart and Brad Kephart (Molly); his grandchildren, Jaden Kephart (Claire), Holden Kephart, Jalen Richardson, Lincoln Kephart, Alder Kephart, Evren Kephart, Harper Kephart and Hayes Kephart; his siblings, Ernest Kephart, Jerry Kephart (Sharon), Dale Kephart (Connie), Doris Dolton (Jeff) and Dorothy McDonald (Bill); and his sister-in-law Debra Kephart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (1700 W 2nd Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the family in his name for a scholarship fund at a later date.
