Edna May Madden Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2020, at the age of 97, Edna May Madden of New Virginia, Iowa, born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Conard and Bertha Conard (Schuler); her husband DeWayne LeRoy Madden; her daughter Linda Anderson; her son-in-law David Lee Anderson; and her siblings, Alice Ahrens, Vera Meyer and Howard Conard.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce Hart (Don) of Boone, Iowa, Craig Madden (Cindy) of Boone, Iowa, Russell Madden (Chris White) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Valerie Parker (Glade) of Floyd, Iowa; her grandchildren, Mark Hart (Greta), Angela Kolker (Dave), Jeremy Anderson (Rachel), Dallas Parker and Chris Ingram (Elisabeth); and her sister Mary Poling. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Those attending the service will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
