He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lansing and Margaret Lansing (Putz); his wife Rita Lansing (Funke); his grandson Ryan Langel; his siblings, Lavern Lansing and Anna Mae Lansing; his parents-in-law, Lois Lansing, Glady Lansing (Purl Lake), Hugo and Regina Funke; and also, Dorothy Mensen (Leo), Verna Lee Digman (Edward), Janice Mensen (Laverne), Leon Funke, Mary Lou Funke, Floyd Funke and Charlie Schindler.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Lansing (LuAnn) of New Vienna, Barbara Hermsen (Steve) of Bennett, Elaine Langel (Roger) of New Vienna, David Lansing (Becky) of Worthington, Joan Cunningham (Brad) of Cedar Rapids, Larry Lansing (Brenda) of Cedar Rapids and Kim Miller (Matt) of Marion; his grandchildren, Jason Lansing, Amy Rodriguez (Seve), Adam Lansing, Josh Lansing (Brittany), Chad Hermsen, Joy Kessler (Josh), Justin Hermsen, Ashley Aldridge (Andy), Tyler Langel (Karen), Staci Steger (Tyler), Nicole Marbach (Wes), Callie Nurczyk (Chris), Jenna Lansing, Emily, Sarah, Michael Cunningham, Devin, Rilee Lansing, Brooklyn, Blake and Bryson Miller; his brothers, John Lansing and Donald Lansing (Diane); and his mothers-in-law, Lois Kern (Art), Theresa Schindler, Darlene Wegmann (Wayne), Karen Funke and Janet Funke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
