She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Goldsmith and Minnie Goldsmith (Melchert); her husband Robert Krapfl; her grandson Alexander Didio; her siblings, George Goldsmith (Laura), Genevieve Olberding (Ray), Margaret Kapler (Clem), Delores Nefzger (Ed), Mary Kupferschmidt (John), Mildred Kramer (Larry), Floyd Goldsmith (Marie), James Goldsmith (Bertha), Fred Goldsmith (Darlene) and Arthur Jr. Goldsmith (Bernadine Nefzger); and her fathers-in-law, Dan Hermsen and Roger Krapfl (Mary Lou).
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Gates (John) of Cedar Rapids, Kay Klaren (Tom) of Dyersville and Karen Didio (Kevin) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Kyle Gates (Emily), Kellie Helgens (J. P.), Meggie Gates, Brian Klaren (Samantha), Rachel Bollaert (Brandon), Andy Didio and Brandon Didio; her great grandchildren, Mason, Penelope Gates, Hugh Helgens, Jackson, Elsie Klaren and Everett Bollaert; her sister Betty Ehrlich (Hank) of Dyersville; and her parents-in-law, Don Krapfl (Jean) of New Vienna and Jean Hermsen of Dyersville.
