He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Tally" and Frances Lukan (Bruening); his former wife Doris Clark Lukan Marsh; and his siblings, Darlene Wilson (Robert), Madonna Lukan and John Lukan Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lukan of Dubuque, Mark "Sparky" Lukan (Bobbi Feldmann) of New Vienna and Steven Lukan (Sarah); his grandsons, Jayden Lukan, Theodore, Oliver and Henry Lukan; and his siblings, Mary Ann Lukan of New Vienna and Jim Lukan (Pat) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Tri-County Sportsman's Club, the New Vienna Fire Department or St. Boniface Church.
