He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoefler and Lucille Hoefler (Huegelmann); his daughter Donna; and his siblings, Mary Ann Geers (Al), Arnold Hoefler and John Hoefler.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Bill, Stacy and Aimee (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Kelsey Hoefler-Merfeld, Jacob and Benjamin Lepsch; his siblings, Clem Hoefler (Joanie) of New Vienna, Germaine Schilling of Zwingle and Eileen Simon (Jim) of Farley; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen of Lamont. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
