It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Paul Smith of New Sharon, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Katie Marvel Smith (Carter). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith of New Sharon; his sons, Llew Smith (Laura) of Morton, IL and Damon Smith (Elizabeth) of Minnetonka, MN; his grandchildren, Megan of Morton, IL, Mitchell of Morton, IL, Allison of Morton, IL, Adam Smith of Morton, IL, Drew Smith of Minneapolis, MN, Katie Jochim (Jake) of Hopkins, MN and Suzy Smith (Evan Ruesch) of Minnetonka, MN.; and his sisters, Barbara Chapman and Carol Edwards.
