It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terri Bartels of New Sharon, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent L. V. Howard of New Sharon, IA.; her stepfather Harlan B White of Oskaloosa, IA; her grandparents, Burgess, Mae Howard (Ollom) of New Sharon, IA, Albert and Edith McCain (Snyder) of New Sharon, IA; her father-in-law Harold E. Bartels of Manasquan, NJ; her aunt Marylin; and her uncle Dwight McCain of New Sharon, IA.
She is survived by: her friends, Linda and John Colligan; her mother Francine Howard (McCain) of Oskaloosa, IA; her husband Richard Bartels of Albia, IA; her sister Toni Bosse (Eugene) of Gladstone, MO; her cousin Marc McCain of Oskaloosa, IA; her niece Staci Williams (Jason) of Kansas City, MO; her nephews, David Bosse (Susan) and Michael Bosse of Gladstone, MO; her mother-in-law Elinor Bartels of Pitman, NJ; and her siblings-in-law, Douglas Bartels of Lehighton, PA and Debbie Harrison (Harry) of Pitman, NJ.
Terri became Catholic in 2001 through RCIA and never missed a weekend mass until the Covid pandemic and her advanced illness.
