He was predeceased by: his parents, Cope Ferguson and Gladys Ferguson (Shoemake); his brothers, Earl, Gerald and Jim; and his sisters-in-law, Fran, Shirley and Coleen.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wilkins Schultz; his children, Rhonda Montgomery of New Sharon and Curtis Ferguson (Robin) of Union Mills; his stepchildren, Melody Gray (Rob) of Newton and Guy Schultz of Barnes City; his grandchildren, Ashley VanDonselaar of Grinnell, Cole Ferguson of Union Mills and Tyson Ferguson of Union Mills; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Gruber (Kirk Dirks) of Coralville, Stacey Kinsella of Monroe, Sunnie Amelon of Amana, Megan Netten (Blake) of Oskaloosa, Shane Schultz (Jenny) of Reinbeck, Derek Schultz (Jillian) of Sumner and Alexander Archer (Tiffany) of Ames; his brothers, Bill Ferguson of New Sharon and John Ferguson of Union Mills; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Ferguson of Oskaloosa and Nancy Ferguson of New Sharon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union Mills Christian Church or the MHP Hospice Serenity House.
