She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Jack" Patterson and Cordelia Patterson (Price); her husband George Pinkerton; her son Clarence Pinkerton; her granddaughter Tricia Chedester; her son-in-law Lee Chedester; and her brother Melvin Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Chedester of Parker, Rick Pinkerton (Kerry) of Taintor, David Pinkerton (Jan) of Salisbury and Tim Pinkerton (Theresa) of Pleasantville; and her sisters, Thelma Carter of Newton and Martha Patterson of Prairie City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mahaska County Public Health.
