She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Cox and Elsie Cox (Steele); her husband Herbert Groves; her parents-in-law, W. T. and Effie Groves; her sister Lucille; her brother-in-law Harry Ketels; her nephews, Greg Springer and Norman Ketels; her niece Janice Ketels; her sister-in-law Wilma Springer (George); and her stepsiblings, Bertha Grace Sharpe (Larry), Alice Moren (Robert), Lena Butcher (Harlan), Ida Reynolds (David) and Francis Watson.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Haworth (Allen); her grandchildren, Troy Haworth (Deidra) of Snohomish, WA, Adam Haworth (JoAnn) of Louisville, NE and Lara Widdig (Chris) of Cambridge, NY; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Blake, Luke Haworth, Waylan, Holly Haworth, Crew, Wade and Sky Widdig; and her nieces, Carole Tindle of Montezuma, Dorothy Upton of Phoenix, AZ and Rebecca Eddy of Marshall, MO..
Nina was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the progression of the disease necessitated she become a resident at the Oskaloosa Care Center for two and a half years, then recently tested positive for Covid.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stephens Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa.
