She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lowell and Georgia Merle Deming (Coe). She is survived by: her husband James McGriff; her children, Cary McGriff (Amy) of New Sharon and Kevin McGriff (LaRayne) of New Sharon; and her brother Craig Deming (Deb) of Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the North Mahaska Music Department.
