We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2022, at the age of 86, Lester Roy Septer of New Sharon, Iowa, born in Prairie City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William "H. W." and Isabel Septer (Poortinga); his wife Georgia "Pud" Septer; his sister Ruby Alderman (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Pargeon, Arnold Adkins (Barbara) and Joyce Walston (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Septer (Trena) of Oskaloosa and Ann Nicholson (Jay) of Montezuma; his grandchildren, Hilary Graham (Russell), Christian Septer (Taylor Crawford), Steven Nicholson, Hope, Stephanie Nefzger (Bill) and Sydney Nicholson; his great grandchildren, Archer Graham, Addison Richardson and Kayla Morrison; and his sister Betty Pargeon of New Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals or the Wounded Warrior Project.
