She was predeceased by: her parents, William Adkins and Margaret Adkins (Whitehead); her husband Kenneth Walston; her daughter Susan Walton; her siblings, Georgia "Puddie" Septer and Arnold "Buck" Adkins (Barbara); and her siblings-in-law, Carroll Walston (Mary), Wilmore "Bill" Walston, Gary Walston, Dean Anderson, Norma Patterson, Bert Leeper (Geni) and Darlene VanGorp (Devern).
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Kendra Joy and Kendra Charbonneau (Charlie) of New Sharon; her great grandchild Taylor Kenneth Charbonneau of New Sharon; her stepgreat-granddaughter Ashley Jenkins (Shon Sherwood) of Blakesburg; her great great grandchildren, Tucker Jenkins, Carson Sherwood and Violet Sherwood; and her siblings-in-law, Les Septer of New Sharon, Leroy Patterson of Oskaloosa, Jimolene Walston, Berdene Walston and Iva Anderson. She is also survived by nine nephews, 14 nieces and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Sharon First Christian Church or the MHP Serenity Hospice House.
