He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Sharp and Helen Sharp (Busse); his brother Bob Sharp; and his brother-in-law Don Snyder. He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Strawhacker (Chris) of Ames, IA, Melissa Hansen (David) of Honey Creek, IA, Jody Smith (Steve) of Montezuma, IA and Marcy Wempen (Ned) of Bennington, NE.; his grandchildren, Jonah Strawhacker, Cameron Strawhacker, Claire Hansen, Ben Hansen, Grant Smith, Noah Wempen, Seth Wempen, Amelia Wempen and Naomi Wempen; his sister Jane Snyder; and his sister-in-law LuAnn Sharp.
If desired, memorial contributions may be designated to the family for future benefit to local organizations of the families choosing.
