He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wyndell Roach and Wilma June Muilenburg. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Roach of New Sharon; his children, James Thomas Roach of Douglas and Kelly Miller (Scott) of Garden City, Missouri; his grandson James Alexander Roach; and his sisters, Sheryl Paulos (Jim) of Des Moines and Debra DeWitt of Oskaloosa.

The family asks for no floral tributes or plants, if you feel inclined to donate, please donate to St. John Lutheran Church in Oskaloosa.
