Brenda Jess Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Jess of New Sharon, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Bush and Vera Bush (Ahler). She is survived by: her husband Val of New Sharon; her sons, Jerry Jess (Kelly) of Taintor and Jeff Jess (Joann) of Center Point; her grandsons, Auston Jess (Morgan) of West Liberty, Brandon Jess (Ashley) of Marion and Cole Jess of Center Point; her great grandchildren, Josie and Jonny; her siblings, Mary Jo Bush of Aurora, Colorado and Bill Bush (Cindy) of Callender, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Karen Twedt (Don) of Nevada.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Life Fellowship (200 W Market St, New Sharon, IA 50207). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wednesday Night Ministries (G2C/PROS).
