She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Julius, Barbara Garrison, Leroy and Louise Fleusmeier. She is survived by: her parents, David Garrison and Mary Garrison (Fluesmeier) of New Sharon; her husband James VanderBeek of New Sharon; her children, Zack VanderBeek (Brittany) of New Sharon, Lori King (Joe) of Drakesville, IA, Michelle "Moe" Charlton (Raymond) of Hannibal, MO, Brett "Mack" VanderBeek (Angie) of Waukee, IA and Jeanne Muckerman (Jake) of Cape Girardeau, MO; her grandchildren, Addison, Ellianna, Hallie, Baby Boy VanderBeek, Alex, Aubrey, Owen, Eli, Ashli, Jade, Tayler, Raymond, Raylynn, Jake, Randall, Nick and Luke; and her brother David Garrison (Kelly) of Lawrence, KS. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, along with several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Sharon Fire and Rescue or Jim VanderBeek to be used for Youth Ministry in New Sharon in honor of Barbi.
