She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luellen Triplett and Faye Triplett (Smith); her former husband Raymond Wright; her children, Mary Quistra of Minnesota, Demaris "Happy" Hawkins (Paul) of Montezuma, IA, Edwina "Sissy" Doty of Tennessee, Regina Van Zee (Steve) of New Sharon, IA and Jason Wright (Rebecca) of Victor, IA.; her husband Hugh "Bud" Gilliland; and her stepchildren, Debra Morrison (Rick) of Brooklyn, IA, Rick Gilliland (Lisa) of Florida and Susan Vanscoyoc of Victor. She was also cherished by many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends that were like family to her, nieces, and a few nephews.
