She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Von Hoskins (Leppert) and Moses Hoskins; and her siblings, Ruth, Rosalie Mason VanSteenberg, Richard Hoskins, Alfred Hoskins, Hubert Hoskins and Robert Hoskins.

She is survived by: her husband Lloyd McDonald of Ames, Iowa; her children, Tom McDonald (Marlene) of Windsor Heights, Jean Daleske (Arlen) of New Providence, John "Mac" McDonald (Brenda "Berny") of Tama and Philip McDonald (Teddie) of High Point; her siblings, Keith Hoskins and Darlene Hoskins; and her sister-in-law Carol Hoskins. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Honey Creek New Providence Friends Church or Camp Quaker Heights.
