He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Laurence Miers and Mary Miers (Glass); his wife Arieta Louise Miers; his children, Debbie Gagala (Ryan Gagala), Anita Wardenburg (Philip Wardenburg), William Miers (Billy) and Daniel Miers (Ursula Miers); and his brothers, Jerry Miers (Joan Miers) and Melvin Miers (Linda Miers).
