He was predeceased by: his mother Marcella Bowman (Hartman); and his brother Leonard Bowman. He is survived by: his father Clinton Bowman of Burlington; and his wife Barbara Bowman of New London. He is also survived by one niece, two great-nieces and numerous cousins.

A service of the word will be held at 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established for Concordia Lutheran Church.
