With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Lloyd Aanes (New London, Iowa), born in Postville, Iowa, who passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Earl Aanes. He is survived by: his mother Alma Ruth Grimes Aanes; his wife Sue of New London; his children, Scott Earl of Carlisle and Sarah Patricia Prochaska (Christian) of Coralville; his grandchildren, Gavin (Kirsten), Lily, Beckett and Cooper; his great grandchild Arlo; and his siblings, Janis Dupuis of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Susan Barry (Tim) of Appleton, WI and Paul (William) of Arizona. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Masks are requested by the family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the New London Fire and Rescue.
