It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Phillips of New London, Iowa, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Walter and Marjorie Dean Conard Parsons; and her husband Michael Ray Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Kim Thornburg (Todd) of New London, Kathy Rice (Jim) of New London and Michael Phillips (Jodi) of New London; and her sisters, Paula Broeker-Mohrfeld (Ted) of Mt. Pleasant, Debby Gipple (Daryl) of New London, Brenda Anderson (Dave) of St. Ansgar and Jo Hollingsworth (Dave) of New London. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
