He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Albert and Susie Belle Baker Lenz; and his sister-in-law Daisy Schmidt Lenz. He is survived by: his siblings, Dick Lenz (Molly) of New London, Greg Lenz of Mt. Pleasant, Marilyn Scott (John) of Mt. Pleasant and Marlene Lenz of New London. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and sixteen great-nieces and nephews.
He had previously tested positive for Covid-19.
A memorial has been established to Burge Cemetery.
