With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Dean Linkin of New London, Iowa, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hanks and Wilma Kathleen Linkin (Williamson); and his grandson Brock McQuiggin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Blow; his children, Brigette Linkin of New London, Travis Linkin (Jena) of Mt. Union and Trent Linkin (Karin) of Oakville; his grandchildren, Blade McQuiggin (Rebbecca), Mariah DeWitt, Branson DeWitt, Camden Linkin, Kyra Linkin, Brianne Snaadt (Trevor) and Trever Linkin; and his great grandchildren, Lara, Emmett and Carlee. He is also survived by one Step granddaughter and five step great-grandchildren.
