Robert L. Lerdal Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert L. Lerdal (New London, Iowa), born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd M. Lerdal and Ruby L. Knudson Lerdal; his wife Diane P. Eden; his son Allen; and his siblings, Jan, Bev, Tom and Ken.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Lerdal (Shelly) of New London and Richard Lerdal (Lyndsay) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Jackie Housman (Josh), Jake Lerdal (Haeli), Jessica Helmerson (Kyle), Chase Lerdal, Casey Davis and Caydee Lerdal; his great grandchildren, Macklynn, Jack Housman, Callen Lerdal, Rhett, Rush Helmerson, Theo and Aspen Fett; and his brother Roland "Bud" Lerdal (Carol).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Deerwood Golf Club (2870 Deerwood Golf Dr, New London, IA 52645).
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
