It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Duane Polka of New London, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Doris June Brown Polka; and his sister Angela Van Nevel (Dolan). He is survived by: his father Paul John; his wife Lori Polka (Lena); his children, Michael D. Polka of Memphis, Mindy Frazier of Memphis, Derrick Poe of Mt. Pleasant and Justin Poe (Josie) of Bonaparte; and his siblings, Patti Youngman (Bob) of Tama, Dan Polka (Teri) of Tama, Bill Polka (Brendie) of Carlisle and Marty Polka (Lori) of Norwalk. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Lori (Lena) Polka to help with funeral expenses.
