With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Shelledy of New London, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Williams and Aletha Bonar Williams; her husband Floyd A. Shelledy; her siblings, Doris Wilson, Sara Williams and Max Williams; her grandson Michael Shelledy; and her great grandchild Shelby Gruss.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Gruss (Dennis) of Carlisle, David Shelledy (Karen) of Norwalk and Ana Lair (Jeff) of New London; and her grandchildren, Derek Gruss of Winterset, Marie Sherr (Noel) of Durham, NC, Chrissy Freed (Lucas), Mandy Cross (Matt) of Omaha, Katie Vincent of Des Moines, Matt Lorber of Leesburg, VA and Kim Shelledy of Norwalk. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
