He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardis Oscar and Elva Edna Lantz Hibbs. He is survived by: his wife Berdita Mae Mosbey; his daughters, LaVita Hibbs and Berdelle Severson (Scott) of New London; his stepson Mike Jarvis (Lori) of Franklin; and his children, Paulette, Michelle, Brenda, Connie and Mark. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the New London Presbyterian Church, VFW, and Fire Department, and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
