James Richard Anderson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2021, at the age of 72, James Richard Anderson of New London, Iowa, born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Elwin and Virginia Garmoe Anderson; and his wife Mary Beth. He is survived by: his former wife Catherine Pobanz; his sons, Michael Anderson (Shelley) of Mt. Pleasant and Tom Anderson (Molly) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; his stepdaughters, Teri Magdefrau (Bob) of Mt. Pleasant and Traci Rupp (Sam) of Johnston, Iowa; his sister Connie Schurbon (Greg) of New London; and his close friend Felicia Sharp of New London. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
