With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Delmar Wurtzel (New London, Iowa), born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Wurtzel and Carrie Anderson Wurtzel. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Palmer; his daughters, Kendra Lyons of Davenport, Regina Wurtzel of Wauwatosa and Wendy Roseke (Ryle) of Lowden, Iowa; and his siblings, Norb Wurtzel (Helen), Jean Gruber (Jim), Bob Wurtzel (Kay), Ronnie Wurtzel (Marge) and Donnie Wurtzel (Julie). He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandson.
A memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
