She is survived by: her former husband William "Bill" Smith; her pet Miss Molly; her children, Brian Granby of Ogden, Edward Smith of New London and K. C. Loer of Albuquerque; and her sisters, Terrie Chapman (Rusty) of West Point and Catherine Granby of Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
