She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Nathanial and Geraldine Lucyle Brown Baughman; and her sister Linda Mason. She is survived by: her former spouse Jerry Lee Sims; her husband African; her daughters, Julie Earhart (Ed) of Burlington and Brenda Hunter (Bruce) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Breanna Purvis, Brittany Earhart, Lorraine Emde, Matthew Earhart, Zach Hunter and Abby Hunter; her great grandchildren, Charli Connor, Alexis Emde, Finley Emde and Emma Purvis; and her brother Raymond Baughman (Cindy) of Galesburg.

A memorial has been established for family expense.
