Bertha Irene King Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Bertha Irene King (New London, Iowa), born in Rockton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon C. Hecox and Mary Seitz Hecox; her daughter Debbie; and her siblings, Mary Chaney (Ralph), Nellie Davis (Howard), Donald "Jake" (Gloria), Dale, Robert, Francis "Butch" and Lorin "Sam".
She is survived by: her husband Bruce B. King of New London; her stepchildren, Dennis King of Houston, Texas and Mary Eddings of Dennison, Texas; her sister Myrna Speidel (Dale) of Vinton; and her sisters-in-law, Leola Hecox, Norma Hecox, Sharon Hecox and Phyllis Bolander. She is also survived by step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to "Make A Wish Foundation".
