William Meyer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Meyer of New Liberty, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Meyer and Hattie Meyer (Flenker); his siblings, Leo Meyer (Elaine) and Lois Puck (Bob); and his brother-in-law Donavon Sievers (Lynn).

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Meyer of New Liberty, Iowa; his children, Kerry Meyer (Dawn) of Stockton, Rick Meyer (Shari) of New Liberty, JoDee Meyer of Lake Ozark and Rob Meyer (Jody) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Mandy Kettwick (Drew), Jamey Meyer (Kara), Katey Wille (Cody), Jackee Ellis (Marques), Devin Meyer (Lindsey), Dustin Meyer (Tess), Ashley Theobald (Alex), Avery Meyer, Paxton Meyer and Breckin Meyer; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family requests any memorials be directed to the Dixon American Legion, the New Liberty Fire Department, or the Dixon Fire Department.
