He was predeceased by: his parents, Meinard Koop and Bertha Koop; and his sister Katherine Koop. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Koop of New Hartford; his children, Lori Koop (Joel Dorman) of Pella, Lisa Schmitz (Greg) of New Hartford and Steve Koop (Angie) of New Hartford; his grandchildren, Michael Schmitz (Lindsey), Lindsay Schmitz Stanley (Jared), Ashley Dorman (Bryan), Matthew Schmitz (Cathy), Jennifer Dorman (Jake), Nick Dorman, Daniel Schmitz, Thomas Koop (Kori), Alexa Schmitz, Jake Dorman, Rachel Koop and Tim Koop; and his great grandchildren, Graham Schmitz, Hudson Schmitz, Sawyer Schmitz, Eloise Schmitz, Kooper Schmitz and Dawson Stanley. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
