He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Bud" Bass and Lucille Bass (Bacon); his parents-in-law, Mervin and Mary Sells; his son Troy Bass; his brothers, Dennis and Doug Bass; and his brother-in-law Bob Sells.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Bass; his children, Lara Kyhl (Kevin), Leah Harriman (Wade), Leasha Henriksen (Josh) and Lane Bass (Casie); his grandchildren, Kiley, Colin, Corbin Kyhl, Cade, Carson Harriman, Charleigh, Owen, Landree Henriksen, Bryce, Brooklyn and Briley Bass; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Sells and Diane Bass.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Family of Larry Bass, for future designation to various organizations in the New Hartford area.
