With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Mead of New Hartford, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Hilton and Margie Hilton (Loy); her son Todd; her siblings, Dick Hilton and Dona Ferris; and her son-in-law Dennis Rawdon.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Mead; her children, Scott Mead (Barb) of New Hartford, Rod Mead (Amy) of New Hartford, Teri Kelly (Steve) of Cedar Falls and Sheri Mitchell (Dave) of Morton, IL; her grandchildren, Cory Mead (Amanda), Tarra Geertman (Kevin), Miki Granberg (Tyler), Dustin Rawdon (Tana), Miranda Rekers (Josh), Ashley Mitchell and Logan Mead; and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Madelynn, Emma, Colton Mead, Jonah, Bryer Granberg, Nora Geertman, Graham, Elle Rekers and Crosby Rawdon.
