He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adelmund and Dorothy Adelmund (Abbas); his wife Marie Brandes; his daughter Colleen Adelmund; his brothers, Pete Abbas and John Adelmund; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Buss and Kathy Adelmund.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Leah Cleary of Cedar; his great grandchild Lainey of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Jim Adelmund (Diane) of New Hartford, Albert Adelmund of New Hartford, Frank Adelmund of Cedar Falls, Jesse Adelmund of Cedar Falls, Barbara Adelmund of Cedar Falls, Sharon Hartama (Dennis) of Parkersburg and Marilyn Buss of New Hartford.
