He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hurd and Lillian Hurd (Jirak); his son Christopher; his wife Joanne; his son David Hurd; and his siblings, James Hurd (Marie), Norma Amble (Alger) and Leona Johnson (Calvin).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hurd of Calmar, Steve Hurd (Theresa) of Campbellsport, WI, Lisa Merry (Jeff) of Plymouth, MN, Barb Watson (Charlie) of White Bluff, TN and Sara Ealy (Michael) of Holiday, FL; and his sister-in-law Karen Krall of New Hampton. He is also survived by his children, his grandchildren, his greats and legions of friends.
