It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Walz of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walz and Caroline Walz (Demmer); his wife Joanna Nehl; his brothers, Leo, Albert and Cletus; and his children-in-law, Tim Einck and Judy Walz.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Kriener (John) of Omaha, NE, Jane Einck of New Hampton, Mary Lou Balk (Ron) of Denver, IA, David Walz (Molly Abraham) of Iowa City, Roger Walz (Ericka) of Maple Grove, MN and Steven Walz (Stacia) of Denver, CO; and his sister-in-law Joan Walz of Oelwein.
