With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vincent P. Lensing of New Hampton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lensing and Catherine Lensing (Gilbert); his parents-in-law, William and Adeline Sobolik; and his siblings, Eugene Lensing (Glenda), Margaret Bohr (Cyril), Maurita Marpe (Elmer), Gilbert Lensing and Mary Beckley (Bob).

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Sobolik of Cresco; his children, Steve Lensing (Michele) of Fredericksburg, Julie Lensing of North Liberty, IA and Mary Cross (Rich) of Farmington, NM; his grandchildren, Madison Cross, Richard Cross, Jordan Stern, Tyler Stern, Nolan Stern, Ashley Lensing and Nichole Caldararo; his great grandchild Parker Landon; his sisters, Grace Gerleman of St. Lucas, IA and Therese Orthaus of Ionia, IA; and his sister-in-law Kathy Lensing of New Hampton.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 3:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish (206 N Broadway Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM.
