She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Berst and Mary Berst (Jirak); her husband Clarence Franzen; her son Alan; and her siblings, Adrian, Charles and Leona.
She is survived by: her close friend Little Bear; her children, Kenneth Franzen of New Hampton, Kathryn Franzen of New Hampton, Rebecca Franzen of New Hampton and Stephen Franzen (Jo) of New Hampton; her granddaughter Amanda Franzen of North Liberty, Iowa; and her sister Delores Franzen of New Hampton.
