He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Gebel and Marie Gebel (Kolbet); his brothers, Jim and Don; his wife Marian Gebel (Wacha) of New Hampton; his children, Deb Winter (Steve) of Bettendorf, Tim Gebel (Denise) of Sherrard, Terri Allen (J. J.) of Ames, Mike Gebel (Rhonda) of Eldridge and Andrew Gebel (Kelley) of Davis Junction; his grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Jessica Winter, Kara Padilla (Gebel), Tyler Gebel, Anne, Rachel Winston, Jason, Nathan, Christopher Allen, Jonathan, Lillie and Kelvin Gebel; his great grandchildren, Vera Winter and Palmer Allen; his siblings, Barb O'Donnell (Jerry) of Cresco and Dan Gebel (Dorothy) of Clear Lake; and his sisters-in-law, Marcy Gebel of Mason City, Marge Haugen of Clear Lake and Elaine Farrington (Mike) of Elma.
In honor of Tom and in keeping with the family's wishes, memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice or to the Knights of Columbus Council 1697.
