She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Griffith and Besse Griffith (Butts); her husband James Brees; her daughter Joell Brumley; and her brother Lloyd Griffith.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Robert "Bob" Brumley of Cedar Falls, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Brumley (Jillian) of Waterloo, IA and Jennifer Brumley of Portland, OR; and her great grandchild Nolan James Brumley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hudson City Cemetery (7932 Eldora Rd, Hudson, IA 50643).
