He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Weigel and Celestine Weigel (Schueller); his wife Irene; and his siblings-in-law, DeeAnn Weigel, Francis Rosonke, Dale McIntyre and Milt Papousek.
He is survived by: his children, Jolene Dungey (Mark), Jeff Weigel (Ralynn) of New Hampton, Janell Nelson (Rick) of Surprise, AZ, Jody Weigel (Jill) of Hiawatha and Janeen Kemp (Dominic) of Waterloo; and his siblings, Mike Weigel of New Hampton, LaVonne Rosonke, Geri Papousek of New Hampton, Mary McIntyre of Reinbeck and Pat Tenge (Vincent) of North Washington. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
