He was predeceased by: his father Francis Zeien; his brother-in-law Ken Heying; his nephews, Jeffrey Dreckman and Austin Onken; and his in-law Mary Dreckman.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Zeien of New Hampton; his sons, Bobby Zeien (Abby) of Manchester, Chad Zeien (Joelle) of Jerico, Jeremy Zeien (Marva) of Waverly, Michael Dreckman (Nikki) of New Hampton, Marshall Zeien of New Hampton and Logan Zeien of New Hampton; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abigail, Parker, Calyb, Charleigh, Milo, Tyson, Kamryn, Emma, Braxton and Adaline; his mother Rita Mae Zeien (Reicherts) of Elma; his siblings, Leon Zeien (Linda), Lenny Zeien, Randy Zeien (Vickie), Luann Heying and Sandy Attelson (Joe); and his in-laws, Robert Dreckman Jr., Roger Dreckman (Carla), Rich Dreckman (Mary), Susan Straight (Henry), Russel Dreckman (Pat), Raymond Dreckman, Shirley Brinkman (Chris), Ron Dreckman (Rhonda), Sara Onken (Chris) and Stacie Dreckman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
