He is survived by: his wife Shirley Troyna of New Hampton, IA; his children, Michelle Schwarze (Travis) of Tripoli, IA, MaryAnn Heying (Lee) of Vinton, IA and Tim Troyna (Krista) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Raelyn Schwarze, Gabrielle Heying, Reagan Schwarze, Rylee Schwarze, Blayke Heying, Brenden Heying, Riann Schwarze, Raelynn Berry-Price, Caleb Troyna and Brody Troyna; his siblings, Jerry Troyna (JoAnn) of Ojai, CA, Glenn Troyna (Jane) of New Hampton, IA, Patsy Gilbert of New Hampton, IA, Nancy Gerber of Ionia, IA and Judy Tierney (Tom) of New Hampton, IA; his brother-in-law Bob Ingalls (Amy) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his cousin Jim Haus of Nashua, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home - New Hampton (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (206 N Broadway Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659).
